St Michael's church is right up on the hill, like lots of St Michael's churches are said to be.

It has a lovely plump font with a big angular zig-zag. Well it's partly zig-zag, and then the carvers changed their minds and had a partly a frieze of round things instead. Which is an idea I like a lot, as indeed why not have both.  |
